Bravo Polish - Polish for foreigners

What is Bravo Polish?

Bravo Polish is our school’s new project specifically aimed at foreigners living in Poland. Five years teaching Romance languages has given us a solid educational basis to create an effective Polish language training program with elements of Polish culture and habits. Daily contact with native speakers working in our school, has helped us understand their major problems with Polish grammar and vocabulary, how they struggle with it and has led us to create Bravo Polish.

The method

What distinguishes us from the other language schools is our method that consists of teaching our students using their native language
. For that reason, the knowledge of English is not a necessary condition for establishing communication between student and teacher anymore. Due to our romance language school profile, our offer is especially directed to Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian speakers. For all other cases English is used.

We are aware learning Polish isn't easy. In most of cases complicated grammar and correct pronunciation is the hardest thing and this represents a linguistic barrier foreigners have to face. To enable communication between teacher and student in his native language is particularly helpful in the basic stage of learning, although in Bravo Polish courses we try to speak mainly in Polish from the first classes. For this purpose we use theatrical techniques in which the classroom can become a shop, a restaurant, a cinema, a doctor's office or a street. In role-playing with simple everyday life, the student feels more encouraged to test his language skills also outside the classroom. This method in natural way promotes remembering typical phrases and expressions, which helps to break down all the barriers of speaking a foreign language and ensures a quick learning pace.

- Are competent, experienced and creative, moreover they are characterized by their patience and friendly attitude towards the students

- Completed the required cycle of training, which has prepared them to use the Bravo method

- Use approved and tested textbooks, that support the teacher's self-made materials.
